Our commitment
We want SavvyMove to be usable regardless of how you browse, read, or navigate. We’re working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target standard. This page reflects where we genuinely are against that target, not where we’d like to be — we’d rather you knew the real state of things than read a page that overclaims.
What we’ve done so far
- Built the site with semantic HTML so screen readers and other assistive technology can interpret headings, links and controls correctly.
- Added descriptive alt text to meaningful images.
- Made navigation, including the menu, keyboard-operable, not dependent on a mouse or touch.
- Used visible focus states so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
- Chosen a colour palette with text contrast in mind throughout the site.
What we haven’t done yet
We haven’t completed a full, independent WCAG audit, and we haven’t yet tested every page with real screen reader users. Some newer features — particularly AI-assisted and voice interactions — need dedicated accessibility testing of their own, since conversational interfaces raise different challenges to static pages. We’re not going to claim compliance we haven’t verified.
Reporting a problem
If you hit a barrier using SavvyMove — something that doesn’t work with a screen reader, keyboard navigation that traps you, text you can’t resize, or anything else — please tell us. Reports like this directly shape what we prioritise next.
What to include
Use our contact form or email hello@savvymove.co.uk with as much detail as you can: the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if relevant.
