Scope of these terms
These Paid Report Terms apply when a consumer or business customer purchases a downloadable or otherwise delivered SavvyMove report. They apply in addition to the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If there is a direct conflict about a report purchase, these Paid Report Terms take priority for that purchase.
What the customer is buying
The checkout page must identify the report product and describe the material information or analysis it is intended to contain. A SavvyMove report is an information and property-analysis product prepared using the information available to SavvyMove at the time of generation. Unless expressly described otherwise, it is not a RICS valuation, building survey, mortgage valuation, legal report on title, tax report, mortgage recommendation or regulated financial advice.
Price and order confirmation
The total price, including any unavoidable taxes or charges, must be shown before the customer places the order. After purchase, SavvyMove should provide an order confirmation in a durable form, normally by email or within the customer account, recording the product purchased, price paid and relevant terms.
When report generation begins
SavvyMove reports are expected to be generated promptly after payment, often immediately. Because the product is created and/or supplied digitally for the particular order, the checkout must clearly state when generation and digital supply will begin.
Cancellation rights and immediate supply
UK consumers buying online can have statutory cancellation rights. The exact treatment depends on whether the product is legally characterised as digital content, a service, or a combination of the two. SavvyMove will not rely on a blanket waiver of statutory rights.
Before a report is generated or supplied during any applicable cancellation period, the checkout must obtain the customer's express request or consent to immediate performance or supply and, where the law requires it, acknowledgement of the effect on the right to cancel. The wording and checkbox state must be recorded with the order.
If the legally required consent or acknowledgement has not been obtained, SavvyMove will not treat the customer as having lost a statutory cancellation right merely because report generation has started. Statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming digital content/services are not affected.
Delivery and technical problems
The order page should state the expected delivery method and timing. Delivery may be by account download, secure link, email or another durable method. Customers should contact us if a report is not delivered or cannot be opened. Where a technical fault is attributable to SavvyMove, we will take reasonable steps to re-deliver, repair, regenerate or otherwise provide an appropriate remedy.
What a report does and does not do
A report is designed to help a customer understand a property and the available evidence. It may identify strengths, weaknesses, questions to investigate, comparable evidence, pricing observations, local context or suitability against a customer-supplied brief. It does not guarantee a property's condition, legal title, future value, mortgageability, investment return or suitability for every buyer.
Data sources and verification
Reports may combine licensed property-data APIs, public datasets, current or historic market information, third-party listing information, derived calculations and AI-assisted SavvyMove analysis. Underlying sources may themselves aggregate information from multiple origins. We do not imply a direct commercial relationship with an underlying portal or public body unless one actually exists.
Material facts should be independently checked with the estate/letting agent, seller/landlord, solicitor/conveyancer, surveyor, lender, local authority or other authoritative source as appropriate. Data can be incomplete, delayed or changed after report generation.
Permitted use and intellectual property
Unless the product description states otherwise, the purchaser may download, store, print and share the report privately with people assisting with the relevant property decision, such as family members and professional advisers. The report may not be resold, republished as a commercial data product, systematically extracted, altered so as to misrepresent SavvyMove's conclusions, or used to suggest endorsement by SavvyMove of a third-party service without permission.
Refunds, remedies and complaints
Refund and remedy rights depend on the circumstances and applicable consumer law. If a report cannot be supplied, is materially defective, materially differs from what was described, or another statutory remedy applies, contact us promptly. We will assess the issue fairly and will not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Complaints should be sent to hello@savvymove.co.uk. Please include the order reference and a brief description of the problem.
Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits a consumer's statutory rights. Subject to mandatory law, SavvyMove is not responsible for losses caused by changes in third-party data after report generation, by use of the report for a purpose it was not designed for, or by reliance on general analysis in place of professional advice where independent professional verification would reasonably be expected.
